Tatsuno has filed over 5,000 patent, utility model and design applications. The R&D department has developed epoch-making products such as Japan’s first gasoline measuring machine, POS terminals and multi-metering machines.
In 1995, we obtained ISO9001 certification, an international standard for quality, and built a product supply system that allows customers to use our products with peace of mind.
In 2004, we obtained ISO14001 certification and are working hard to be a “company that contributes to environmental conservation.”

Tatsuno has been introducing innovative products for over 100 years. Starting with Japan’s first fuel dispenser, the world’s first overhead-type dispenser, the first POS terminal for gas stations, Ultra Nozzle and EcoStage Series, Tatsuno has been creating new values and helping build secure and safe energy infrastructure.

The Yokohama Factory has a R&D department and a manufacturing and wholesale department and has built a consistent production system from parts manufacturing to assembly of developed products. Under a thorough quality control system, we respond to market needs by manufacturing high-quality products by combining the latest production equipment such as industrial robots with skilled techniques in a well-balanced manner.
Leveraging the technological capabilities that have enabled the company to bring products for service stations to the market ahead of its competitors, the company has a 65% share of the domestic market for gasoline dispensers, and is also expanding sales overseas, primarily in Southeast Asia.

The revision of the Measurement Act in April 2018 has led to the establishment of “Designated Verification Bodies with focus on instrumental error verification”. Tatsuno was officially appointed a Designated Verification Body by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry and is performing verifications of fuel meters.
